How do I prepare myself for an MRI?
What should the physician know beforehand?
If you have an implanted device, e.g. a cardiac pacemaker, joint prosthesis or another foreign object inside the body, then you must definitely inform both the physician who ordered the MRI and our physicians. If possible, provide our physicians with access to old x-rays and OP reports; these facilitate a precise risk assessment. Please arrive punctually on the appointed date.
